mind mapping a serious sport.....

Most of us will have some idea about what mind maps are. Lately I've been thinking about using mind maps to aid in language learning, specifically in improving speaking fluency in the EFL classroom. My first impressions are largely positive. But how exactly do you make "proper" Mind Maps?
